Service Description

West African dance with us is a signature Giwayen Mata experience designed for sharing cultural knowledge, exercise, and lots of fun! Set to the live music of the jembe drum orchestra, dancers will learn renditions of traditional dances that go with rhythms performed by ethnic groups of the Greater Sene-Gambia region like the Baga, Bamana, Malinke, and Susu people of West Africa. This class is tailored to fit 1 hour, 1 hour +15 minutes, or 1 hour + 30 minute sessions. This class is most suitable for people with dance class experience.
