KWANZAA FRESHII 2.0
After last year’s exciting debut, Giwayen Mata and the Auburn Avenue Research Library return with Kwanzaa Freshii 2.0! Part two of a 7-year series, Kwanzaa Freshii honors our unique Black culture and rich African traditions while staying Freshii, “cool” in Kiswahili.
With a spotlight on the next generation, Kwanzaa Freshii fosters youth development through community-based arts experiences. Their contributions on stage and behind the scenes, also brings the cool, freshii vibes to this annual celebration of community and culture.
